1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Executive Summary:

My oilfield career began in 1983 when I broke out on drilling rigs and used this experience to work my way up to driller, toolpusher, then to drilling consultant. Seen herein is my work history for Operators, Service Providers, and Contractors. My work development philosophy began with first training & educating myself on field operations, problem situations related to the area or culture, or development of necessary specialty skills with tools, such as directional, guidance systems for directional wells, open hole & cased hole DST’s, Completions & Walkovers. My career then grew into most Operators desire to move me into various locations, superintendent of daily operations, or total Project Management. Mostly my desire at this point in my career is to return to field operations as a wellsite supervisor on challenging wells that include HTHP, under balance drilling, mud cap technology, and with a strong emphasis on HTHP & Directional wells.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Experience History:

• 2008-Present: Independent Consultant working with other Drilling Engineers in Robertson Co, Texas, in the Deep Bossier, including primarily three liners, one to seal off salt water flow, CO2, and a poorly developed zone, to finely reach the pay zone witch take mud weights ranging from 17.4 to 19.3 PPG, polymer base, mud systems. Maximum temperature range to 365° F. Wellsite Supervisor, Design Engineer, and Superintendent to drill these hot holes, measured depth up to 17,600’ with under balance drilling techniques using mud cap procedures for tripping and other means of surface pressure control.

• 2007-2008: Forest Oil, 42 miles south of Cameron, La., on an Ensco jack-up. Drilled 14,500 ft. well, set surface to 6,000 ft. At around 6,700 ft. drilled through a salt dome; set a liner to case off the hole. TD’d the well at 14,500 ft with a 17.8 mud weigtht

• 2007-2008: Noble Energy in Weatherford, OK. Drilled 3, 11,600’ well’s through a lost circulation around 9,800’ running LCM from 8 to 14 PPG, in major losses 18 to 22 PPG.LCM

• 2006-2007: New Gulf Energy in Sweeney ,Texas, drilled and completed 14,500’, perforated with co2, 9,800 psi on tubing at surface

• Apache Corporation in Dewitt Country, Cuero, Texas, drilled two 12,500 ft. wells

• 2005-2006: Yuma Exploration , inland barge drilling in High Island, State Track 69,st-1 17,500 ft. well, then move a Noble rig Don Walker out 72 miles from Houston, Texas in 350 Ft. water and Drill A 17,500 well ,setting surface to 5,800’ then drilling throu a salt dome @ 7,200’ then setting a liner to case off the hole and finish the well at T.D.. with a 18,4 PPg mud weaght . Then Drill two 12,500 ft. wells ,in Iowa, louisiana

• 2005: Chesapeake in Kleberg and Parker Counties, Texas, well drilled KOP 7500 ft TD. 10,500 ft. in the Barnett Shale

• 2002-2004: Elite Drilling Co, Consultant drilling turnkey well and drilled 90% of these wells as Wellsite Supervisor.

• 2000-2002: Lewis Energy Company , Drilling Consultants, drilling turnkey in LaSalle Country, Texas wells were from 8,500 ft to 10,500 ft

• 1995-2000: Noble Drilling Company, toolpusher drilling in West Africa , on a jackup in water from 150’ to 450’ drilling dual horizontal and duel completion wells from 12,500 ft. to 17,500 ft.

• 1989-1995: Driller Inc, Gray Wolf, Helmerick and Payne, Nabors Drilling Co. and Delta Drilling Co. (50% Driller and 50% Toolpusher)

• 1983-1989: Morning tower roughneck, driller, and assistant tool pusher.



Professional Accomplishments:

• Successfully managed and drilled wells for various Operators as Wellsite Supervisor.
• Drilled wells in Starr, Brooks, Kenedy, Nueces, San Patricio, Goliad, Gonzales, Fayette, Lavaca, Jefferson, Orange, Jasper and Washington Counties, Texas
• For Union Pacific Resources in Washington County, drilled 5 high pressure horizontal wells with KOP 16,500 ft, TD approximately 20,000 ft., with 10,000 BOP’s.
• Also spent five years drilling horizontal wells in the Austin Chalk Field.
• Successfully performed in each of the project disciplines in South Texas as Wellsite Supervisor.
• I have been working in the oil and gas industry in drilling and completion. I have worked on drilling rigs from 8,000 to 30,000 feet both on land and water, domestic and foreign, low and high pressure gas wells and horizontal wells. I hold a current passport. I have a BOP certification for surface, Sub Sea, and completion along with certification in H2S leadership school, CPR, first aid and safety training with an excellent safety record.

Qualification Highlights:

• Established reputation as a Wellsite Supervisor that will improvise to the equipment or strengths available on location.
• Quickly identify problem situations and begin trouble shooting those problem areas from the wellsite as needed with forward planning & procedures sent to the customer’s engineers and superintendents for additional input to mitigate expensive and complicated resolutions.
• Strong team leadership skills which include 12 hour written forward plans for each crew to let the team know the daily plans and always with emphasis on safety, health, & environment.
• Fifty percent of my wellsite supervision has been in domestic operations and the other fifty percent has been in remote international areas. This has developed my drilling skills to adapt to various types of drilling conditions including HTHP wells, all types of directional wells, multi-lateral wellbores, and under balanced drilling at mud weights above 15.6 PPG with 18.2 PPG mud cap techniques for tripping or surface pressure control.
• My career has been split in approximately the same fifty percent as Wellsite Supervision to the other fifty percent to engineering, superintendent, and Project Manager.
• Maintain industry certifications for well control, all aspects of safety including but not limited to “First Responder”, “Fire Fighting” & “Confined Space Rescuer & Supervisor”, with Environmental and Health training for environmentally sensitive locations and large sequestered camp locations.

• Continuously remain current with industry standards for BOP, Safety, Environmental, & First Responder.
