•Being viewed as a trusted coordinator between staff and top management.

•Provide guidance and clarification on all HR issues (especially Procedures and Policies) to employees further to management instructions.

•Follow up and inform management of any personnel related requests of: salary increment, vacation leave, extended sick leave, maternity leave, advance on salaries, recommendation letters, certificate of salaries etc.

•Keep confidential logs/records of all staff salaries, scales, bonus, salary cycle and leaves.

•Support in advancement of engineering training.

•Report and coordinate with accounting department.

•Compile letters of recommendations.

•Produce historical database of staff – salary graph, leaves, and benefit logs.

•Have a clear understanding of the whole organization and how each position (and possibly each person) fits into the organization.

•Document exit interviews.

•The orientation and induction of new employees.
•Investigate, resolve and respond objectively and empathetically to all complaints or grievances filed.

•Prepare advertisement notices for job hiring and coordinate with newspapers and bulletin boards, universities / syndicates.

•Monitor, track and report staff adherence to all the Policies and Procedures.

•Ensure all staff has a full and completed personnel file, with all the relevant information and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Receiving application forms for the senior government positions (grade 1) posted on the website of the ministry.
