Design drilling, exploration and completion programs, for both public water supplies and private clients in various reservoirs in accordance with industry recognized technical criteria and applicable drilling regulations to achieve production objectives in a safe and cost effective manner to produce fresh water
Monitor daily drilling operations and provide technical and engineering support to drilling operations
Investigate and troubleshoot daily drilling related problems, find appropriate solutions and establish new procedures to prevent reoccurrence of problems
On-site immediate problem solving and issue resolution
Evaluate drilling practices, equipment and technologies and make sound conclusions and recommendations to reduce cost and enhance drilling efficiency
Interpret and evaluate electric logs including but not limited to spontaneous potential, gamma ray, micro-log, lateral and deep resistivity, bond logs, and caliper logs
Analyze production performance data and recommend activities in order to improve well performance and assist in planning remedial well activity as required
Extensive gravel packing experience on screened wells
Document technical work and completion reports in a clear, concise and timely manner conforming to State of Texas requirements and standards
Communicate with service contractors about technical issues and any changes in the drilling program
Design and supervise construction of high capacity pump stations for both potable and non potable water for pubic water supplies and private clients
Communicate and collaborate with civil/professional engineers to design fresh water systems as well as make project completion decisions based on drilling data and formation samples
Complete productive wells in various earthen and site conditions and formations including geographic areas where contaminated and brackish water formations must be avoided in order to meet the client’s needs
Work with clients from initial contact through project completion and acceptance
Design and implement analog and digital logic controls for pump stations and artificial lift systems
Manage day to day tasks for multiple employees
