Further to your advert, please find enclosed my CV for your consideration. I feel that there’s a close match between this role and my experience to date, as I have over 25 years experience in the pipe and structural trades sector within engineering / construction.

A most recent role in Angola on the Dalia BTL Buoy entailed major troubleshooting responsibilities, whereby I turned round a failing project that was months behind schedule. When I left, it was only two weeks behind and the client put this down to my effective negotiation and liaison skills. This clearly illustrates that I have the skills required to negotiate successfully and produce excellent results by bringing projects in on time.

Proven experience of effectively managing multi-site and multi-cultural teams ranging in size from 30 - 120 . Excellent knowledge of QA/QC functions and practices; familiar with standards such as ANSI,ASME,NORSOK,BS,API and AWS. Major Achievements :
Successfully completed the Goja MEG & TEG Module fabrication and systems installation
Successfully turned round the Dalia Buoy fabrication project, appointed to troubleshoot and bring back on track the project from 2 month delay with effective negotiations with the subcontractor
Recovered an additional £4m from the client for Jordan Engineering by coordinating a team of supervisors and surveyors entailing unscheduled works
Innovatively assisted IPS successfully win a £26m bid, as senior management rep on site when the bid documentation arrived, scrutinised the original paperwork and developed a memo to the client which enabled the bid team to fulfil the clients requirements more effectively
Created and implemented a workshop training programme for the local personnel in Gabon West Africa
