Started his activities in the petroleum industry in 1968 at age 13 in the family drilling and exploration business, working his way from roughneck to derrick man on cable tool and rotary rigs to driller on deep drilling projects world-wide [Norway-North Sea, Iceland (Geothermal), Alaska [Barrow, Brooks Range, Cook Inlet], “Serpent” Sub-Sea Drill Experiment, “Scorpion” Deep Sea Drill Experiment]
Geologist in 1973 while still in high school, geological field control and well-site for drilling projects in Kansas and
Oklahoma. Extensive field geology in Kansas, Nebraska, Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming,
As a Technical Specialist: Seismic analysis, including in-field layout, survey, drilling, and observer. Interpreted
3D seismic data in North Sea,[Ekofisk, Brent] Interpretation with 2D/3D Seismic and well data. Regional
and prospect sequence/seismic stratigraphy analysis. Well log and core interpretation of lithofacies and depositional

Contributed to and edited the geological and geophysical aspects of prototype test programs for the GTUF experimental drift tunnel at the yucca mountain repository project, Nevada. The technical writing encompassed the explosive controlled blasting prototype, excavation effects, thermal stress effects, seismic acceleration effects test, and optimal rubble size prototype test programs.
