1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

I am currently working for Hallin Marine UK as a ROV Pilot Tech II.
I have been working worldwide gaining valuable experience using a variety of ROV’s ranging from the Seaeye Lynx and Falcon to SMD Hydrovision Quantum and Quasar Compact, all being used for a wide range of operations, including touchdown monitoring, pipeline and cable surveys, drill support, mobilisation onto vessels and rigs.
I have currently have 150+ flying hours.

I have previously worked for Momentum Engineering as a ROV Pilot Tech II and Helix Canyon as a Trainee ROV Pilot Tech, where again I gained valuable experience in the tasks I was involved with.

I am interested in learning and developing new skills, through on job training or train courses to improve my overall knowledge ability and skills in the ROV industry.

2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]

Currently working as a ROV Pilot Tech II with Hallin Marine.
Worked with the Seaeye Lynx and the Seaeye Falcon, mobilised both on to vessels and rigs, used them for assisting with pipeline survey with running commentary, using profiler heads and a tooling skid attached with cameras in the manipulator jaws, assisted with drilling operations, installation of pin pile and the running casing’s with docking piles, grouting operations, and seabed surveys. Also assisted in maintenance and repairing of the vehicles.
Worked with SMD Hydrovision Quantum and Quasar Compact, used in supporting pipe laying operations, as lay surveys, pipeline inspection, compat recovery, shackle releases and wire cuts using a 5 function manipulator and a shilling 7 function manipulator both with and without cutting tools, target inspection and cable survey using TSS 440 cable tracker, Assisted in maintenance and repairs of the ROV’s and TMS.
Currently have 150+ flying hours.
Also worked for Momentum Engineering.
I was Working from vessels and rigs using a Sea Eye Falcon and Videoray Deep Ocean, used for drill support, Close up inspections of Lay down Heads, Ball valves, Spool pieces, Flange connections and Pipeline, Diver Observation from wet bell. Close up Jacket inspection of the Riser and Flange connections, Anodes and grout inspection at the Skirt piles and Seabed surveys.
Finally worked for Canyon as a Trainee.
I Worked in the onshore base in Aberdeen assisting in the full refit of the Excalibur ROV Trencher. Tasks involved assisting in the removal and replacement of hydraulic hoses of all sizes and lengths, with a variety of fittings, removed and replaced damaged electrical cables, cleaned the good electrical cables then placed back on the ROV.
Fitted the 7 function Manipulator arm, filled up the junction boxes and the pan and tilt stripped down the running tracks serviced them and rebuilt them, removed and refitted the cutting swords on the ROV. Assisted in the strip down of the LARS system involving removal of the Hydraulic hoses, removal of the rams, the holding pins.

Working as a Plant Operative at a Cummins Diesel Engine Plant, Building bespoke Diesel Engines for customers with specific needs ranging from marine engines to JCB power plants. My duties involved making up and testing a variety of Electrical Control Modules (ECMs), I would then fit the ECM to the engine unit. Thereafter I would fit and route all electrical harnesses to all sensors and ancillary equipment. Finally I would fit and set reducing elbows and installs the turbocharger before being pressure tested. Each engine may be different and quick thinking; organisation and knowledge were essential for this job.
