To manage all the recruitment transactional processes (cycles) for specifically allocated vacancies to include:
* Receipt and follow through of approval to fill from Directorates.
* To Place job adverts on internal NHS website and Advertising agencies/newspapers.
* On-going monitoring and analysis of spend associated with each vacancy
* Compiling short-list and interview packs for managers.
* To prepare and despatch interview invite letters and prepare interview packs for panel
members.
* To participate in interviews to ensure interviews are conducted according to the Equal
Employment Opportunity Laws.
* Ensuring that all relevant communication to managers and applicants are sent out ( includes
dispatching interview letters, processing pre-employment reference/medical and criminal
checks, arranging work permits/extensions, arranging Induction & Training and preparing final
contract of employment ).
* Assist with production of relevant management information and reports, including; advertising
spend, temporary agency usage, ethnic a disability monitoring, and specific recruitment
related management information including time to fill and cost per hire etc
To Liaise with external advertising agencies and temporary recruitment agencies
To coordinate the redeployment program, which assists employees who are seeking internal alternative employment opportunities.
To coordinate the Work Experience and Graduate Recruitment Programs.
To act as the first point of contact for all Criminal Record Bureau matters.
To coordinate arrangements and promotion of National Health Service, NHS at recruitment and careers events.
Key Achievement
Successfully coordinated Recruitment Event 2009 for newly qualified doctors & nurses and filled 70 new vacancies in a very short deadline. Also due to my effective communication and presentational skills, was chosen spokesperson for NHS Recruitment & Career Events and HR monthly departmental meetings.
HR OFFICER- EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
