I am a 27 year old Naval Architect from Spain. I have had a short but intense career with experiences in several fields like ship structures design and analysis, naval shipbuilding, propulsion and auxiliary equipment and heating and air conditioning based in solar energy.
I can described myself as a proactive and all-rounder person, easy to work with and completely dedicated to his job. As you can see in my attached CV I have some work experience, gained while I was finishing my studies, in other fields such as diesel engines and thermal facilities, and I have had the chance to work both in little and big companies, and to find out I can accomplished work under high pressure situations.
2. Work Experience - CV/Resume Part 2 [Mandatory]
At present(since Sep08): NAVANTIA Structural Development Section(Innovation Department). Duties mostly related to the development of the structure of S-80 submarines, helped with FEM analysis tools and 3D CAD and CAE tools like Rhinoceros and FEMPRO.
Nov 07- Dic 08: Naval processes assistant for Grupo San Ildefonso. Working on the e-learning project UVICOA for the Spanish Navy which consists of the production of courses about the use of equipment installed in naval vessels.
Jan-Aug 2008: Eresol Technical Department. Planning and budgeting Solar energy projects and installations for all kind of building. Specially focused on domestic hot water production and heating.
2007: Assistant at Marine Engines Laboratory of the E.T.S.I.N. for 12 months, carrying out Classification Societies approval tests in the Dynamometric workbench and improvement and repair of engines.
July 04: Traineeship at Bengbu shipyard (Anhui, China), for Seatrend Shipping, and at the technical office of CS Marine at Shanghai.
2000-2004: Scholar at the COIN(Spanish Marine Engineers Association). In charge of the distribution of the COIN publications and organization of events.
