I am currently working as Oil and Gas Senior Mechanical Technician Coach/Assessor contractor for bp on a $200m Installation, Construction and Commissioning Project at Sangachal Terminal, Baku, Azerbaijan.

Coaching Roles & Responsibilities • L11/L12 and A1 NVQ qualified • Coaching, training, assessment and development of local Azerbaijani National Technicians • Required to interface with Production, Instrument and Electrical Technicians as required, ensuring effective operation and maintenance of all equipment • Provision of operating procedures and CMAS Training Plans • Supporting National Staff in the operation and maintenance of all plant systems • Development and review of maintenance procedures, spare lists and training plans • Strong and wide-ranging technical skills within core discipline.

QA/QC Project Roles and Responsibilities • Preparatory Phase • Conversant with requirements of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and start-up of the DPCU2 facility • Conversant with GOC requirements • Liaise with operations and vendor representatives • Carry out and sign off the checks detailed on the generic GOC test certificates • Mark up drawings to as-built status • Participate in joint MC1 and SH1 punch-outs • Preparation of work permits on a day-to-day basis.
