1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]

Mission Tasks
1) Carry out drilling operations ensuring the respect of the planning and of the safety rules

Professional Skills
2) Receive instructions for drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary table rpm, pressures and pump outputs) as well as other work procedures (type and expected life of bit, mud characteristics, bore control etc.), and ensure their correct application. Whenever deemed necessary, within the specified limits, change the drilling parameters to improve the drilling progress; 2) Receive handover for the previous shift and verify the status of operations and equipment before beginning his shift; 3) Check and set up the equipment necessary for the assigned shift, i.e. drill pipes and other tubular material, x-over, etc; 4) Operate the drawwork during drilling activities and complex manoeuvres; 5) Assist rig down/rig up operations by coordinating and controlling; 6) Ensure that all reporting routines are followed and that all equipment related paperwork are carried out within his area of responsibility. Specifically he/she must: 6.1) fill up a daily drilling report for the activites performed during his/her shift describing the work carried out and the equipment utilized; 6.2) Update the pipe tally book and draft dimensioned drawings of the equipment run in the well; 7) Ensure that all orders and instructions received verbally or in writing are fully understood and adhered to; 8) Be safety conscious in all his/her work and use compulsory protective equipment; 9) Responsible for safe working conditions on the drill floor at all times; 10) Ensure that his subordinates use compulsory protective equipment; 11) Be familiar with all relevant work and safety procedures issued by Saipem and Operator; 12) Apply and ensure the correct application of prescribed safety standards and regulations, and take part in emergency drills and safety meetings; 13) Issue Safe Job Analysis before start-up of non routine operation or job and ensure completion of risk assessments where required; 14) Instruct all personnel assigned to him for assistance of their duties and responsabilities and of any special safety precaution to be taken prior to start up of any work; 15) Carry out BOP and pit level drill etc. in accordance with regulations laid down by Government Authorities or Operating Company; 16) Promptly report all accidents, near-miss accidents and non-conformance through the proper channels; 17) Intervene promptly and opportunely in emergencies, at the same time notifying the superior in charge; 18) Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained on the drill floor;


I’m working for 7 / years in site of oil and gas wells as, assistant driller , derrick man and floor man.
prior experience with high pressure oil and gas wells .
experience in fields with wells grater 16500 ft depth
experience in work over fishing cementing and completion
experience in short and long radius horizontals wells

Assistant Driller

• Assist the senior driller, provide work directions and personally perform duties necessary to guide, assist and instruct lower classified employees in their work.
• Supervise the derrick man in maintaining the mud pumps and mud system in efficient operating conditions; monitor the repair of high-pressure pump and associated valves; start, operate, stop pump house equipment, operate valves to transfer fluid from one pit to another.
• Inspect safety lines ropes, air hoists, monkey board, derrick fingers, stabbing boards, sheaves, crown blocks, derrick bolts, pins, welds, and other equipment related to the derrick
• Direct and coordinate crewmembers in performing their work, inspect that proper tools and equipment are used and in working order.
• Keep senior driller informed of needed operating supplies such as fuel, lubricants, mud and replacement parts for pumps and advise of unsafe conditions on the rig and in derrick.
• Ensure all down hole equipment is measured, recorded and fit for purpose. Ensure pipe tally is correct, recorded and up to date. Inspect threads, couplings and sealing faces on all equipment, which will be run in the hole.
• Daily safety meetings before the shift start safety audits, pre-job safety meetings and job risk assessment; ensure full implementation of the STOP card system.
