Aug 2007- Present
Working via Global Pipelines for Dragon LNG at Milford Haven on construction of a new gas storage facility. This involved working from CAD and ISO drawings, fabrication of structural steel, pipe supports and associated steel work to very high standards. During this contract I have gained my safety passport and confined space working tickets.
2005 – Aug 2007
Plater / Fabricator
During this period I have worked on a contract basis via a number of agencies for a variety of companies within the marine and oil and gas industries. Mainly site based on new construction projects and shut downs.
2004 – 2005
Fabricator / Welder I worked self-employed for KBS Metal works. Working in a fabrication shop. Fabricating steel for fire escapes and construction projects. Worked on hand rails, balustrades, and walkways.
2003 – 2004
Working holiday in Australia, where I worked as a fabricator / welder both workshop and site environments in Brisbane Queensland
2002 – 2003 Vosper Thornycroft Southampton
I completed a 6 Month contract, working as a light plater. Duties included heating and venting ductwork, working in sheet metal. I worked in both workshop, and afloat for this major UK ship building company.

Producing structural steelwork using MMA and MIG welding techniques and installing on site. This company went into receivership and all Employees were made redundant.
