I am seeking employment as a heavy duty mechanic/diesel mechanic or any other relevant opportunity abroad. I have been working as a qualified heavy duty mechanic/diesel mechanic in mining and remanufacturing of heavy duty machines for over 12 years .I can do just about anything as I always had the tendency to learn more and expand my knowledge. I am very good at working with my hands, have always been a hard worker in tough conditions and work well under pressure. I have a very positive attitude towards my work and my co-workers, I learn and adapt easily and perform to the very best of my ability.

Supervise workers, order parts, issue out parts that’s been ordered for specific jobs. Issue the oils out for services and supply filters with the oils. Responsible for all repairs, maintenance and services of all earthmoving machines in the Forestry business. Overhauled winches, under carriages, hydraulic pumps, engines, final drives. Fault finding, cutting and welding.

Field servicing Repairs, maintenance of all earthmoving machines, field servicing ,repairs and fault finding , services , maintained Bedford trucks , 280 bhp Cummins engine, 10’’x 8 ‘’ ksb pump, 5hp water pump ,ford county tractor, bell digger loader.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Maintenance and repairs on various machines and equipment in production environment as set out in employment history. Other skills acquired:
*Hydraulics and Pneumatics
*Read Technical drawings,
* Fault finding
* Mig ,arc, gas welding, brazing, silver soldering and cutting
*Rigging and operating of overhead cranes up to 25 tons
*Forklift driving

Repairs, maintenance of all earthmoving machines, engine overhauls, overhauled brakes and hydraulic cylinders, transmissions. Fit sprockets on dozers and excavators, fault finding on transmissions, hydraulics. Fitted excavators with hydraulic piping for indeco hydraulic hammers. Fitted tracks on excavators and dozers. Overhaul hydraulic indeco and Krupp hammers. Fitted hydraulic piping for quick cupplers on excavators.
