I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself with regards to gaining employment with your company. I appreciate that I have not yet worked offshore and with respect I am looking for an opportunity to begin a new career in the oil and gas sector.
I have worked in a variety of jobs and gained vast experience in engineering and building trades, my safety record is excellent and I have gained numerous certificates in worksite health and safety, I have recently taken and passed a B.O.S.I.E.T. course also a greenhand and banksman/ slinging course and have also passed my offshore medical at NUTEC safety training facility on Teesside.
I appreciate the need for timely and efficient work practices and working to strict budgets as I am currently employed as a self employed building contractor.
I appreciate that I must start at the bottom of the ladder and with this in mind I would consider any position to enable me to get a foot on the first rung but with a view to advancing a career in the oil and gas industry.
