My experience and training in offshore semi submersible exploration includes marine, drilling, rigging, safety and materials/logistics support. My current certifications with Global Training and Environmental, includes safety training with IADC Rig Pass w/Safe Gulf. I have a current unrestricted passport, TWIC and have experience in travel. Additionally, I understand HSE with ongoing study towards my certification of NEBOSH International General Certificate, which would allow me to audit safety in operations.

Diamond M Offshore, Sugar Land, Texas
Galleyhand to Roustabout 1983 to 1984
I was hired by Personnel Director, Mr. Todd Patton and
assigned to the California Operations of the Diamond M Eagle.
The rig superintendent, Mr. David Alexander and Barge Captain, Travis Blue, supervised
the training of my experience on the Semisubmersible Eagle.
This was my entry level position in rigging operations in support of drilling operations.
Safety training includes weekly drilling , in H2S, fire team operations, heavy equipment rigging,
and general maintenance of equipment. Crew rotation: 14/ 14 days.
Contract with Chevron ended and rig was stacked.
Wyle Laboratories, Electronics Marketing Group Austin, Texas
Technical Outside Sales 1984 to 1986
Reporting to Mr. Bill Daugherty, General Manager of the Austin Division.
Responsibilities included the market analysis and widening of market share, which experienced
phenomenal growth with the new opening of Austin operations.
I assisted Buyers, Production Managers, Software and Hardware Test Engineers on production
needs. Major Accounts: IBM, Texas Instruments, Data General, and many sub-support
companies. Wyle Laboratories is a electronics distribution firm of various electronic
components, for the OEM manufacturing of computer hardware systems.
Diamond Offshore , Houston, Texas
Roustabout / Materials Storeman 1986 to 1989
Assigned to the Diamond M Falcon, I was rehired by Rig Superintendent, Mr. David Alexander.
The Falcon was re-staffed as Diamond M Company received a contract with Arco in California.
I returned to materials support and continued my training as Storeman in materials and logistics support of drilling operations. Additionally, assisted departmental staff,
Motorman, Electrician, Mechanic, and Sub Sea Engineer, with projected equipment lists,
in the maintenance of both marine and drilling equipment.
Additional training included Certification with Clean Seas on the deployment of expandi-boom from hydraulic reel on stand-by boat. Introduction of HSE applications for daily rig operations.
Diamond M Company sold both semisubmersibles the Eagle and Falcon to Atwood Oceanics,
Houston, Texas. Crew rotation: 14/14 day. Staff Layoff, and rig stacked.
Tropic Jewelers , Virginia Beach, Virginia
Owner of this Business 1990 to 2009
Tropic jewelers is a contractor for Zale Corporation , Dallas, Texas. This business operates
in support of a chain of retail stores in the Tidewater area. Tropic provides manufacturing,
materials, and performs welding of product. Support of retail store operations, includes customer service at store level and assisting in sales of various product designs.
Due to the economy, Zale Corporation is restructuring operations. The restructuring
to a centralized system will end contractors operations company wide. Tropic Jewelers closed
business in January, 2009.
