I have recently graduated from Strathclyde University with a Masters Degree in Product Design Engineering. (with distinction) I am looking for a challenging and interesting career. Although I may have limited industrial experience I hope my higher than average academic qualifications compensate together with my ability to solve problems with innovative solutions.

I obtained a placement for the period between my 4th and 5th years at University with Teknek Ltd a company who design and manufacture cleaning machinery to be incorporated into a variety of production lines .
Working within a team two cost reducing activities were undertaken with the objectives for both projects being met and exceeded. The final designs to which I contributed substantially improved on the products function and reducing the time / costs associated with manufacture.
Since leaving school I have held a number of part time positions with East Ayrshire Council. This was from 2003 to date and included the roles of Recreation Assistant and Relief Caretaker.
