In addition to gaining my Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from Arkansas Tech University, I have experience managing mud logging crews on exploration wells throughout the US, both onshore and offshore. Personally commended by supervisors for my effectiveness in management and geology while being proficient using various drilling and logging methods in diverse geologic environments. Upon completion of my last position I left work for several months to help a family member that had become sick. I have been looking for employment as a geologist since the first of the year.

Well Site Geologist/Drilling Engineer Mar/2007 to Jul/2008
(14 Month Contract Position)
Supervised and managed a crew of core processors and drill rig personnel while conducting daily safety meetings to guarantee a safe working environment. Maintained records of drilling activities and all materials used, for billing purposes. Measured and recorded drill pipe, bits, and casing lengths to ensure proper depth control. Studied and interpreted well logs, analyzed cores and rock cuttings to classify formation changes and areas of concern. Data was utilized in the construction of Yucca Mountain Repository. Complete information was conveyed to the manager on a daily basis and turned over to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for examination when drilling and sampling were completed.

Managed logging crews in the detection and evaluation of hydrocarbons at various drilling locations throughout the U.S. Worked directly with Well Site Geologist in exploration of hydrocarbon deposits. Was successful in providing technical support to the operator by analyzing geological and drilling data.
