CV/Resume Details
1. Summary (Cover Letter) - CV/Resume Part 1 [Mandatory]
To whom it may concern:
I have worked out in the field just about my entire career and feel comfortable on rigs, platforms, work boats, field installations or factory floors. The industry of oil and power generation is a technical one and there is no place for downtime. That’s why the industry needs observant and diligent service personnel to make sure the jobs go according to procedure. I can get the job done.
The reason I am applying for the position is that I got caught up in the drilling downturn that the industry is going thru now. Weatherford, my last employer, is dependent on drilling rigs and providing services to them. When the rig count is drastically reduced, personnel have to go. I got caught up in that.
I may not be an exact fit for what you are looking for, but I could be a candidate for one of your apprenticeships programs.
