Having had a very successful and enjoyable diving career, I am now aspiring to increase my ability and skills in the commercial diving sector abroad and further my knowledge in all related operations
As my passion has always been with diving, I now feel that this is the correct time with my two daughters grown up, to return to the world of commercial diving.
I realise that I will not be re entering commercial diving at the level that I was when I left, but have determination and motivation to achieve the highest level of standard that any employer would expect.

Class one Amphibious Engineer – responsible for three men and £1 million worth of bridging equipment and instruction on the equipment.

Progressed interest, enthusiasm and determination lead to promotions, and therefore the ability to attend more courses one of which was a Combat engineer Class I which involved simple calculations for explosives. Supervising earthworks using light earth moving plant, laying & securing ground surfacing expedients, various stages of road construction, including surface and subsoil drainage. Constructing a small reservoir and a water tower, testing for water poisons and operating a boat safely. Supervising small parties of soldiers on any construction or military engineering task. I was awarded a City & Guilds of London Institute Skills Certificate in General Construction Work.
1997 - Further promotion lead to a position as Course support Instructor, involving supervision and instruction of diving students in the maintenance and use of all diving equipment. Carrying out diving tasks, including, setting out dive sites,
using different types of breathing apparatus, various under water tools and equipment to carry out underwater commercial assignments
1998 - Due to the political unrest abroad at the time and with a young family I chose to leave the Army.
1998 - Successfully completed various plumbing, heating, engineering and business management courses I started my own business as domestic and light commercial oil fired central heating engineer, entailing, service, maintenance, repair, replacement and installation of oil fired heating systems.
1998 – 2009 I continued diving as a hobby.
