HAMPCO, HOUSTON, TEXAS - CONTRACT JUNE 2009 TO JULY 2009
PROJECT MANAGER
• Lead a staff of 6 in the design of a tender assisted rig at the Kecana shipyard in Lumput, Malaysia. This rig the KM-1 involved 24 packages weighing over 900t which were to be transferred from the barge to the production platform and assembled. The rig packages included the mast, drawworks, mud system, powerhouse and BOP controls. My objective was to evaluate the design in process and to initiate the project and engineering procedures as required.
 Created work breakdown schedule, made effort estimates and created the project schedule (MS Project).
 Developed engineering procedures with respect to drawing numbers, file hierarchies, document transmittals, report formats and design review.

ODS INTERNATIONAL, HOUSTON, TEXAS SEPTEMBER 2008 TO MARCH 2009
PROJECT ENGINEER
• Directs an international staff of 45 in the design and construction of offshore material handling equipment including riser handling, tree skidding and BOP transport. Project staff distributed in the US, India and Brazil.
 Develop and implement varied engineering practices including design review, calculations approach, change control and 3D modeling.
 Applied various API/DNV/ABS standards in the design of offshore equipment and managed the relationship with such agencies.
 Directed the development of design standards used in the design of offshore equipment. These standards included the impact of vessel motion and wind loads.

 Lead mechanical design of a casing running tool to be used in running casing and casing drilling.

 Designed and managed product test program conducted at Stress Engineering Services.
