I would like to apply for the post of Relevant Position at your company .I am currently working in McConnell Dowell South East Asia Pte Ltd as Quality Control Engineer / Welding Inspector Position. I am working in Singapore nearly seven years about the Piping, Oil & Gas and Marine.

Responsibility

 Ensuring that appropriate and only qualified Welding procedures are employed on the work
 Witness welder qualification tests
 Prepare Test block diagram for Test Packages and Weld summery reports.
 Carryout the line walk and prepared punch list before Hydro test.
 Prepare the Hydro test chart and test reports according to the approved ISO drawing
 Carryout re-instatement punch list after Hydro test
 Monitor the storage and handling of welding consumables
 Compilation of Test Packs as per Client requirements
 Monitoring welders for pipe shop fabrication according to project WPS and specification.(eg. Before welding, during welding and after welding inspections)
 Prepare cutting plan, material verification, fit-up and visual inspections and pipe spools
 Releasing for painting after clearance for NDT
 Paint DFT check using elcometer according the paint coating system.
 To read drawings (Arrangement, P & ID, ISO Drawing & etc.) and draw out some ISO drawings when it is needed for fabrication & installation.
 To inspect pipe fitting & welding joints & make correction if it has any defection followed by piping specifications before Client (FWP and Exxon) inspection.
 To prepare weekly progress report for smooth operation of project and maintaining the pre-define schedules or to be adjusted which it is needed.
 To submit those reports to manager & owner respectively.
