Need someone with 8 to 10 of oil and gas exp who has management and leadership skills
Directs the development and implementation of overall division/region materials management strategies, policies and procedures; directs division/region-wide procurement and management of service and purchase contracts.
Directs and controls the procurement, warehousing, distribution, transportation, logistics planning, identification and local disposal of materials and equipment for the division/region.
Negotiates contracts for major material, equipment and service requirements and repair of such equipment for the division; negotiates contracts for reclamation or re-manufacturing of division/region surplus equipment.
Negotiates major division/region agreements for critical commodities/services.
Serves as commercial contract manager for selected service and purchase agreements (alliances) on behalf of the company.
Directs region investment recovery operations for rationalization of surplus equipment to maximize equipment investment.
Develops and implements internal control procedures to ensure sufficient financial controls are in place during purchasing and invoice process cycles.
Ensures development of professional materials employees by planning career paths and providing training programs.
