| Job Description:
|
Saudi Aramco seeks a Production Engineering Specialist to work with Shaybah Producing Department. The Incumbent will be part of Production Engineering and will be responsible for an area with group of wells and production facilities. Should have extensive experience of well completion/recompletion operations, wellbore intervention techniques and optimization of production systems. Thorough understanding of safety and environmental practices. Incumbents must be aware of the safety related issue with well, production facilities and environment. Should have experience in design, installation and performance monitoring of ESPs and gas lifting. Moreover, application of hydraulic fracturing techniques in tight carbonate reservoirs.
Minimum Requirements
BS degree in Engineering.
Nine to Ten years.
Incumbent is recognized as an expert in one or more of the areas of Petroleum Engineering and can serve as Consultant, Coordinator or Project Engineer on assigned projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and coordinate major studies in any of the petroleum engineering areas.
Consult with and provide technical guidelines to management and related engineering groups on matters which falls with their area of responsibility.
Review activities requirements and ensure implantation.
Schedule well work to ensure the wellhead and down-hole integrities.
Recommend and implement ways to improve the well productivities.
Review remedial actions to safe upkeep of wells and producing facilities.
Review work of engineers directed on project where additional manpower has been assigned.
The incumbent must have the ability to train, develop and coach others.
