This role will suit a committed and driven professional Logistics or Supply Chain specialist with warehousing and logistics experience. As an experienced leader you’ll have the confidence to manage a highly, motivated team. You can coach others and get the best out of individuals; your ability to motivate others means that you will get the job done by working through them.
In this role you will oversee the deliveries of product as requisitioned by customers and other Shell terminals both locally and nationally. This will involve maintaining knowledge of applicable regulations impacting the transport of Shell products and to ensure that all deliveries comply with applicable regulations. At the same time you will champion HSSE throughout the business and be responsible for focused leadership for all aspects of HSSE to help drive our safety program.
You will work closely with a broad range of Shell business to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance. Monitoring performance data and trends, while supporting and influencing your team on performance objectives, you will also promote best practice learning.
Customer orientated, you must have a commercial mindset and good communication skills. What’s more you’ll bring along excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
The key success to this role involves liaison with a broad range of internal team and external stakeholders, you have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships to lead, motivate, coach and develop an operational team.
